Shiraz RIP Server Version 6.7
Following the release and widespread success of Adobe PDF plugin option on Shiraz RIP Server version 6.6 , Shiraz V6.7 will utilise the Adobe PDF library as standard and the Jaws engine will be phased out.
This move will guarantee consistency across the releases and ensure the users are benefiting from the latest technology available resulting in reduced support incidents. The new Shiraz RIP Server version 6.7 will essentially be version 6.6 with the Adobe Plugin and include new drivers and bug fixes.
Adobe PDF Library
Shiraz V6.7 now includes as standard complete handling of Adobe PDF functionality within the Shiraz software RIP, providing a consistent reliable, accurate and supported implementation of the latest Adobe PDF specification.
The new V6.7 pricing will reflect the additional cost of the Adobe plugin now included as standard on the RIP.

Minor Enhancements & Bug Fixes
Minor enhancements and numerous bug fixes effective from last official release will be included in V6.7. Due to it's ongoing nature, a complete list of bugs fixed will be announced at release time
Shiraz Signature V7.5 (ships with Shiraz RIP V6.7)
The Shiraz Signature V7 product was launched more than a year ago aimed as an entry level RIP, driving a single printer, with extensive layout job facilities.
The new Signature V7.5 builds upon the success of V7.0 and expands further its functionality and features.
Print Mode Widget
A new print-mode widget in Signature offers full control over printer configuration parameters. For each printer model a full list of parameters and their values will be shown in a table and users can make changes to allowable parameters controlling their output. This feature inherited from Shiraz Server will make Signature a powerful tool for full control of printing.
Adobe PDF Library
Shiraz Signature 7.5 will now include Adobe PDF Library plug-in as standard replacing the Jaws engine for all PDF and Postscript processing. This will give full PDF handling functionality to this product.
Multiple Image Placements
New feature is introduced to support automatic placement of multiple images. Once the user has selected the Image(s) then they are nested for the best use of the media.
Tiling Enhancements
Tiling utility in Signature is enhanced to improve print marks selection and placement and also to allow users to select individual tiles to print.
Colour & Preview Enhancements
Preview of images in Signature are now colour accurate and reflects any colour correction applied by the user. There are also additional colour correction options available as part of Signature: Simulation, Various effects, Force Black, Pure Colour
Job Templates
Signature now supports job based templates which can be saved and reloaded at any time to obtain preset values for a specific job type. Once the parameters for a job have been selected the user can save them under templates with a give name. The templates are then available to the user to reload at anytime.
Minor Enhancements and bug Fixes
Various minor enhancements and bug fixes since last release are implemented for the new V7.5 version.
